Every year we have a Lumos family reunion in Graeagle, California where we all camp for the weekend. This year we also went to Papa and Nana's house after the reunion where the girls picked vegetables from the garden, held Niner (Papa's bird), went to the lake by their house, got to collect chicken eggs, and spent one day in Lake Tahoe. It was so much fun and the girls have never been more dirty!!!

I don't update these quotes too much anymore since Cali pretty much talks like a 10 year old and Kari Lynn has been speaking full sentences for quite some time...amazing how fast they turn into little people!(03/2009)
With Cali's full vocabulary, it's amazing to hear the things that she says each day. We often find ourselves saying, "did a 2 year old just say that?" This is just a fun way to keep track of the funny things/words she says since we'll forget before long...I'll keep adding since I can only think of a few:
Kiki = Kari Lynn ( for those who don't know, Cali started calling her Kiki very soon after she was born so we all seem to call her that now.)
Tomorning = Tomorrow Morning
Sunglalesses = sunglasses
Way too lot = way too much
Popporn = popcorn
Turn the dark on = obviously means make it dark. Afterall, if you can turn the light on, why can't you turn the dark on?
Kari Lynn is starting to repeat EVERYTHING! She says so many words very well so I'll keep track of the cute way she pronounces new words:
O-tay = okay
La-ooo = Love you
Chaulky = Chocolate
Wa Wa = water
Nacky = napkin
Ki-E = Cali
Py Py = potty
Bips = chips
Doda = Dora
Oufff = off
Teesh = teeth
